All Outburst Theatre performers and teachers are professionally qualified and working in the theatre and film industries. We work as a whole company and in smaller divisions, depending on the project.
Rosalind Parker, B.A. Hons, A.L.A.M. – Artistic Director, Facilitator and Lead Performer
Rosalind trained as a dancer initially, then went on to do her professional actor’s training at Rose Bruford School of Theatre and Performance and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She has worked extensively as a specialist physical theatre actor, as well as a movement director and writer. Rosalind’s theatre credits include Iago in Othello at the Drayton Theatre, Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest, Lady Lucilla in Ultima Britannia, D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Rosalind has also written and performed several one-woman comedy shows for adults and continues to write children’s comedy for The Bedlam Bunch.
Annie Roper – Assistant Director, Facilitator and Lead Performer
Annie is a professional dancer, trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts, who retrained as an actor at the Courtyard Theatre Training Company. She has worked as a drama and dance teacher for over 20 years and her theatre credits include a Europe and Asia tour of Animal Farm with the American Drama Group Europe, extensive UK tours with Caught in the Act and Box Clever theatre companies as well as numerous open-air performances at Oxleas Woods and Glastonbury Festival. With Outburst Theatre, Annie has performed in several pieces at St Laurence’ Church, Catford, taught at two performing arts projects for Carers Bromely and directed 1968 – The Year That Set The World On Fire with students of Rushey Green School, at St Laurence’ Church.
Kris Saddler, B.A. Hons – Lead Performer
Kris trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and works in theatre and film in bothe UK and the USA. He has performed in several pieces at St Laurence’ Church, Catford, including Wonderful World and Angel Space and Wrapped Fish.
Theophilous Alade – Dance Teacher
Theo trained as a dancer at LABAN, where he completed 2 diplomas. He now performs internationally, frequenting world famous venues such as Sadler’s Wells, and teaches his craft to young people wherever he can. Theo is warmly loved by all his students, with his infectious spirit and great gift in getting them to express themselves with real confidence, energy and focus.
Klara studied at the University of Lund and teaches music and singing internationally, as well as performing as a singer-songwriter under her own record label, Dark Green Records (London). Klara has taught with Outburst for projects such as Carers Bromley Performing Arts Week.
Rosie Armstrong, B.A. Hons – Lead Performer
Rosie trained at Rose Bruford School of Theatre and Performance and currently performs in theatre and film. For Outburst Theatre, Rosie has performed in The Good Punk Rocker. She has also performed in several children’s comedy shows with The Bedlam Bunch, sister company to Outburst Theatre.
Simeon Oakes, B.A. Hons – Lead Performer
Simeon is a bilingual, professional actor who trained at Drama Studio London and currently performs in classical theatre and musicals throughout the UK. For Outburst Theatre, Simeon has performed in Wrapped Fish and various other comedy sketches. He has also performed in countless children’s comedy shows with The Bedlam Bunch, sister company to Outburst Theatre.
