Community Theatre & Heritage Project  – Catford, 1968
Partnered with St Laurence Community Centre & The Age Exchange, Outburst Theatre brought together 35 children from 12 different Lewisham schools and dozens of local senior residents to research local history and stage a live theatre production about the events of 1968 in Catford. This project gave free drama training and research training to all participating children and brought an entirely new community together, including children, parents, schools, local reminiscence groups and elderly residents’ organisations.
